January Race – 1/21/17

The Sail Feet of the San Diego Sail and Power Squadron has started its 2017 series with a race on January 21st 2017. The weather being blustery after a strong winter storm produced only one entrant, being Bon Temps skippered by Ted and Claudia Bowler.

.

Points for this series are awarded to overall finishes of participating Power Squadron boats so Bon Temps was first across the line so they start off with 10 points towards the Sail Fleet Award to be given out in January 2018.

.

The next race will be on February 18th at noon in the South Bay. Details will be forthcoming as I receive them from the South Bay Family Sailing Series.

.

I encourage all who are interested in participating in the Sail Fleet to look into the benefits of becoming a Power Squadron member so to be part of the Sail Fleet and enjoy the boating education, group activities and camaraderie that we have.
