December Race – 12/16/17

The San Diego Sail and Power Squadron’s twelfth race of the year, in conjunction with the South Bay Family Sailing Series was held on December 16th 2017. Of the nine boats in the race, 4 were power squadron boats eligible for points in the San Diego Power Squadron Sail Fleet Series. This was the last race of the year and the crowning of the 2017 champion!


The results are as follows:


First across the line in our race series was Marilee, a Beneteau 473, with a time of 1 hour, 36 minutes and 55 seconds. 10 points to the winner and the 2017 champion!


Finishing in second place was Astra, the custom Italian racing Boat, with a time of

1 hour, 37 minutes, 54 seconds. 8 points to Astra!


Third place went to Consigliere, a Beneteau 41, with a time of 1 hour, 42 minutes, 50 seconds.  6 points to Consigliere!


Fourth Place went to Bob Temps, a Beneteau 361 with a time of 1 hour, 43 minutes, 27 seconds.  4 points to Bon Temps!
