Congratulations, Jerry,

You did a super job, in spite of the obstacle thrown in your way. Although
the location wasn't as good as before and we had to spread our 10x10 to
30x10, we drew the interest of most people in the area. We'll need to lobby Jeff
for a better location for 2010, however.

My only complaint was that watch standers, for some reason, don't put down
there cell phone numbers; and, even if they do, they don't have them with them
at the booth. None of the five I tried to call on the Saturday afternoon
shift would answer. Big bold type is called for to emphasize the need for
emergencies and other contact situations, such as my trying to learn if we were
low on brochures, etc.

Unless we learn otherwise, the next show will be Day at the Docks, probably
on 26 April. You might want to use last year's paperwork to give them a call
and let them know who you are. They start assigning spaces as early as
February.

Regards, Shaun

Hello Everyone.
I am looking for feedback regarding the San Diego boat show and our
participation in it. If you stood watch at the Boat show this weekend, or if you
simply attended the Boat Show, I would appreciate some feedback on how you
thought the show went.
Feedback can be on anything that came to mind including:

Communication leading up to show
How our booth looked to the general public
Set up
Break down
Presentation of Booth and materials used
Ease or difficulty getting Badges
Location of Booth
Etc..Etc..

Any ideas, concerns, or observations, will be greatly appreciated so that
preparation and implementation of future shows goes smoothly. So that we may
move forward in how the general public sees the United States Power Squadrons,
and what we have to offer them, I would deeply appreciate your feedback.

Thank you,

Jerry Pokerwinski
