[SDSPS Members] Watch Standers still needed for the July Boat Show!

Hello Again!
We are three weeks away from our summer boat show and we still have spots
available for watch standers. Please consult your schedules to see which
time is convenient for you to stand a watch. Please remember to include a
phone number and email address for contact purposes during the show.

Future Boat Show alert!
As we all know, the January Boat Show at the convention center will not
happen this year due to NMMA pulling its sponsorship. There will be a
smaller version of the show tentatively set for the Sun Roads Marina at the
end of January. I will be sending out more details as that boat show draws
near. With NMMA pulling out of the January Boat show, The international Auto
Show at the convention center (December 30-January 3)has expressed an
interest in having a Œleisure¹ section of the auto show dedicated to boats
on trailers. I have been in contact with one of the organizers to tell them
of our interest in attending. If they go forward with this they will contact
us in the future regarding booth space. This is a great opportunity for us
and I hope that we can be a part of this show. The only problem of course is
that it runs during the holidays. I¹ll have more for you down the road
regarding this show as well.
