Hi Bill,
 
Unfortunately (or not  )  Jeanne and I are leaving for Germany & Greece on 9/24/09 and won't be able to attend the Fall conference this year.
 
However, Jeanne has made two Nautical tie-style polar fleece blankets, and two sets of four Nautical coasters, for the raffle.  We'll get those to Jerry in the next week or two.

HELP      HELP      HELP     HELP
San diego is the host for the D-28 Conference Sept 25-27. The schedule of events has been published.  Besides your attendence and participation we need your HELP on two events.
 
AT the Fri eve social we provide the snacks, dips, meatballs etc necessary to carry us thru the 2 hr. event. No one has ever left hungry before so we need help from all members.
 MARIE BAER is coordinating the food. Contact her at MKBAER1 at aol.com with what you can provide. Even if you can't attend please try to HELP.
 
Sat night we have a raffle which will help us cover the expenses of the Conference, name tags, entertainment, etc. We need lot of items for this event. THey do not have to be about boating. Donations from your favorite buisness or restaurant, special books, glass ware, wood carvings, etc. 
We have a weeks use of a house in Maine, hand made AFGHANS, maybe a time share. Lots of possibilities but we need to know what you can provide.  Jerry Pokerwinski has agreed to get the list together and coordinate the raffle. Contact Jerry  at jpoker at cox.net.   HELP    HELP
