Hi All !
 
We are happy to announce that we have obtained Tom Kirwan, Director of the Recreational Boaters of California (RBOC), as our guest speaker this next GMM dinner meeting, March 12, 2010. 
 
One very pertinent issue that he will speak to us about is the pending legislation for the "Proposed Coastal Marinas Permit", a potentially very costly endeavor whereby implementation could cost marinas and yacht clubs upwards of $200,000 per year.  This cost could be passed on to boat owners as increased slip fees.
 
PLEASE JOIN US AT THE POINT LOMA CAFE FOR THIS EVENT.  REMEMBER, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EAT DINNER HERE TO ATTEND, AND BE PART OF THE SDSPS.
 
So, please come out and support your Squadron !!!
